For this flavorful pasta, you'll need large chicken breasts, linguine pasta, Italian seasoning, chili powder, butter, chicken broth, diced onions, minced garlic, canned fire-roasted tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, chili flakes, heavy cream, fresh chopped parsley.
Butterfly and slice chicken breasts. Cook linguine pasta, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Mix Italian seasoning and chili powder, then season chicken breasts.
In a skillet, melt butter and cook seasoned chicken breasts. Remove, slice into strips. Add chicken broth to the skillet, scrape, and add diced onions. Cook until onions are translucent.
Add minced garlic, then fire-roasted tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir in salt and chili flakes. Pour in heavy cream, increase heat, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Turn off the heat. Add the cooked linguine noodles to the skillet. Stir the pasta and sauce mixture well.
Scoop the Spicy Chicken Pasta into bowls. Top with seasoned chicken slices and fresh chopped parsley.
