Butter, diced yellow onions, Italian sausage meat, jarred alfredo sauce, chive and onion cream cheese, 3 cheese pierogies, shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, green onions.
Start by melting butter in a skillet. Add diced onions, cook until translucent. Add Italian sausage, crumble, and brown. Drain grease and set aside 1/4 cup of the mixture.
Turn heat to medium-low, add alfredo sauce and chive and onion cream cheese. Stir until fully melted, creating a creamy sausage mixture.
Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Place half the frozen pierogies at the bottom, spoon half of the creamy sausage mixture, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Add remaining frozen pierogies, spoon the rest of the creamy sausage mixture, and sprinkle more shredded cheese. Top with reserved sausage mixture, chopped green onions.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for thirty-five minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until the cheese is fully melted and just starting to brown.
