Onions, celery, carrots, chicken thighs, butter, garlic, all-purpose flour, chicken broth, Bisquick mix, milk, half and half, poultry seasoning, parsley.
Dice onions, celery, carrots, and chicken thighs. Melt butter in a Dutch oven. Add chicken pieces, cook until no pink remains. Add onions, celery, and carrots. Stir and cook for a few minutes.
Add minced garlic, then all-purpose flour. Stir until a paste forms. Cook for a few minutes. Pour in chicken broth, stir well, bring to a boil. Simmer for fifteen minutes.
Mix Bisquick with milk until a sticky dough forms. After simmering, add half and half to the pot. Stir well and increase heat. Add poultry seasoning. Bring to a boil.
Drop Bisquick dough into the boiling liquid by the spoonful. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer uncovered for ten minutes.
After ten minutes, gently stir, cover, and simmer for an additional ten minutes. Remove the lid, add chopped parsley, stir gently. The creamy Chicken and Dumplings are ready to serve.
